The 20th Century Chinese literature was staggered forward in theenlightenment and the political storm. At the turn of the century, Chineseliterature has encountered unprecedented impact from the visual cultureand the market. Therefore, literary circle displays tremendous anxiety anduncertainty. It is an indisputable fact that literature circle should be in theface of the market and the public for the creation in sticking to its"spiritual home" position. But literary world persists in so-called "eliteculture" and don't want to face up to the visual culture. And them havemade some trouble with the development of the literature.But in turn of the century Hong Kong, Li Bihua's novel writing hasalready broke through the "elite culture" and the "popular culture". Whatis more, her novel writing has provided much valuable experience withhow to face up to the visual culture in the popular culture time. So, thepurpose of the paper on one hand is to analyze Hong Kong's best-sellingbook writer Li Bihua's novel writing, on the other hand is to study theattitude and the strategy of the literary circle under the popular culturecontext with literary sociology, literary aesthetics, "combination ofliterature, history and philosophy" methods absorbing the basic conceptsof the popular culture, the modernism and the literature theory.
