From the 20th century 30's, there are massive Han Bamboo slips unearthed at northwest of our country, Especially in Juyan area. The Bamboo slips unearthed in Juyan are highly valuable in the studying of history, and attracts scholars form domestic and aboard to pay attention to them.The content of Han Bamboo slips contain many aspects, such as documents,letters,utensils and so on. This article based on the research results of predecessors, try to find out the essence and the historical connotation of the utensils recorded on the bamboo slips. The essay divide into five parts: part one and part two focus on the discussion of essence of the utensils recorded on the Yong Yuan utensil book, and explain the social background and border defense of Han dynasty; Part two enumerates the name of horse and vehicles recorded on bamboo slips, explain the essence of them, and discussion the horse policy of Han dynasty; Part three and part four discuss the humanities environment of Juyan area, from record on bamboo slips we can know that, there is commercial trade in Juyan area, soldiers can take part in certain recreation and cultural study, these measure guarantees the defend system of Juyan in some degree; Part five is about utensil book unearthed in Zhangjiashan. The author point out that this utensil book should be read from right to left, from first row to the second, then to the third row, and there are some defaults in the association of the utensil book. This part also discusses the essence of some utensils.The whole essay try to research the utensils recorded on the bamboo slips and the historical connotation related to them, the author proposed some personal viewpoints and expect to make some contribution to the research of bamboo slips.
