The development of chinese word is trending to be disyllabic, and the study on the representative books of different period can give supports to the whole chinese history researching.Qimin Yaoshu is the earliest and the most complete writing on agriculture. Being concerned closely with people's life and having the purpose to give guide on them, the language of this work is more oral and can give more real reflection of the condition of the language in that period. So, the study on it is very valuable. The article choose the disyllabic words as objective, using the method like"dissecting sparrow"to make analysis on their quantity and nature, and then make comparation on two directions. All of these are in order to give little support to the study of Chinese language history. The full text break into three parts:The first part is introductory remarks. It's concern with the introduction of Qimin Yaoshu, the value of study, the method using in study and the brief account of the disyllabic word in the writing.The second part reveal the characteristic of the disyllabic words in the book by making detailed statistic and description to its structure in the respects of semantic meaning, grammar and pragmatics.The last part is the concluding remarks. It make a summary on the characteristic of the disyllabic words in Qimin Yaoshu and confirm it's status in the whole Chinese language history on two directions in five respects.
