A Closer Study Of Liu Xizai's Yi Gai·Jing Yi Gai

Liu Xizai is the famous essayist in Qing dynasty . His respenstive work, Yi Gai, which is unique for it's completeneness of sturcture, abundanceof the content, creativety of views, is considered as the"the earliest literary conspectus in China". His work Jing Yi Gai which express lots of ideas with few words, is the sixth volume of the work, Yi Gai. Liu Xizai spent all his life time working on the eight-part essay of the imperial examinations. He combined the wrtting skills in the kernel of literature and the formats of literature. He is the man with special creativity and master of expressing all the thoughts. It is said articles can make people wise, enlarge their knowledge for daily use, and the work, Jing Yi Gai, is easily to be understood by the ones who know it well. Based on the analysion, content, structure and choice of words, this paper is going to show the kernel of Liu Xizai's works and explain the contribution of Liu's special therories. This paper is also helpful to today's literature comment and literature creativty.The paper contains three parts: prodrome, analysion and conclusion. For the prodorme part, the paper maily talks about the basic introduction of Liu Xizai, the version of Yi Gai, the importance of resarching Jing Yi Gai, the actuality of the nowdays literature word, the ways and angles of researching this paper.For the analysion part, the paper explains Jing Yi Gai form the follwing four aspects:â… comment on title. Liu believes the agreement betweent the title and the content is the most important thing.To come to the agreement, the writer should respect the title first. As Liu believes, an article should contain three key elements, the most important one is completeness of the idea, that is, the main topic of the article. Liu does not only works on his writing form whole, he also use the water to cmpare with the structure. He wants to write neatly and diversitly form the whole point of view. His ideas harmonize the relationship between nature writing and writing correction in a total and dialectic way.For the conclusion part, the paper talks about the value , localization and the importance of the Jing Yi Gai.
