The Research Of Quoting And Chanting Poems In ZuoZhuan And GuoYu

During the Spring and Autumn period, poems were widely used into various ways of our society. Confucius said: "one does not know how to speak without using poems", which indicates how important poems role in our daily communication activities. The relationships between poems and people's daily life are inseparable. Lots of poem's records were reserved by pre-Qin's books from ZuoZhuan and GuoYu.Some of the disputant problems from poems can be solved by researching the quotes from ZuoZhuan and GuoYu. First chapter of the text starts with the analyses. Following chapter of the text contains detailed functions and effects of the poems. The most important characteristic of the poems from Spring and Autumn period is quoting out of context; this has both difference and similarity with quoting out of meaning which was said by Mencius, along with tact of ode, contrast and rise using in the poems, these forms the third chapter of the text. The last chapter discusses the reasons of why poems expansion and downfall.The using of the poems was considered the most civilized thing during the spring and autumn period. We will be more understandable for this specific historical phenomenon by researching these fields.
