The Compilation Of Interest Test For Choosing Specialities

The interest test for choosing specialities is used for helping high school students to know themselves well and making suggestions about choosing optimal specialities in university.The interest test is composed of interest level test and lying scale. The interest level test is composed of 206 items from 69 dimensions, which are subjects sorted from over 200 specialities in university.Using theoretical and experiential methods to compile items, then delete, modify and form the final draft. Analyze the dates of 480 cases of high school students in Shanghai to explore the quality of the test.By analyzing the quality of the test, the results are found that difficulty levels of the items range from 0.36 to 0.79, the intermediate level is 0.54; distinguish level of the items are between 0.612 and 0.939; concerning reliability of the scale, the internal reliability levels range from 0.3101 to 0.8938 and average out to 0.7058. Structure validity is validated to be good by factor analysis and other two methods.Established the norm of the test, summed up the shortages of the research and made suggestions to improve on.
