As part of the main stream of Chinese culture, Taoism is founded on the basis of "the principles". "The measure of the Tao is spontaneity"; therefore, nature has been taken as the original of Taoism. Furthermore, Aesthetics of Zhuangzi's put forward a kind of aesthetic ideal by which nature is highly valued. In this kind of aesthetic ideal originated from nature, Zhuangzi believed that the state of spontaneity of all things is the most ideal state; and meanwhile, the most beautiful state.The aesthetic ideal of Zhuangzi's esteems a kind of natural and sincere aesthetic personality; in fact, it advocates the value orientation of the pursuit of"what is life"and the personal freedom of individuals. Notwithstanding the aesthetic ideal of Zhuangzi's has the properties of Utopia, it enlighten us greatly today, when human's living situation is threaten by the problems like ecocrisis, spiritual crisis that arisen with the improvement of living standard; and thus provides human beings of modern age with an oil lamp of hope, on their long journey of seeking an ideal life style in "a night of midnight".The natural aesthetic ideal of Zhuangzi's expounds a way of aesthetic experience by "transformation", and it advocates that humans should appreciate all things on earth with tranquil and vacant heart, and by this way they can discover the essence and vitality of them. Zhuangzi's natural aesthetic ideal is highly honored in today's world for its great and profound influence on both the development of Chinese literary and the shape of Chinese personality.
