In The New Social And Cultural Context And History

Along with the historical progress and variance, China has entered the Post Revolution Era which gives priority to the trend of modernism thought. In such an age, history and human are the key narrative proposition of Chinese contemporary literature. And, the Cultural Revolution, which is always a focus of Chinese literature, is brought into the eyeshot of writer's esthetical taste again and impels the naissance of a block of excellent works. Due to the feature of the new era, these works shows great modernism sense, both on narrative substance, narrative strategy and on esthetical configuration. Theoretically based on the Post Revolution Era thought, this paper bases itself on the age contemporarily while contacting with history, discusses the Cultural-Revolution narrative literature in the Post Revolution Era systematically. The paper explains why these novels are so successful, analyzes the significance of their narration and the thought they reflect and points out the shortcomings in these works. This paper would help to develop and consummate the Cultural Revolution Narrative Literature in the future.
