Emotional Design Of Family Kitchen Appliance

The developments of science, technology and social economic culture establish the material base of the age, the fully satisfaction of material life makes the high quality mental life as the aim of the construction of human living environment. In nowadays the relationship between people becomes more and more apathetic. People pay more attention to their own emotional needs. And the emotional design based on the emotional needs and mental needs deep in their hearts becomes a new ideological trend of design. This thesis discusses emotion in psychological way. It also discusses the necessity of emotional design. And it also analyses and concludes the emotional design of Professor Norman with lots of examples.There is a long history of the Chinese dietetic culture. But with the acceleration of living rhythm and the invasion of Western culture, a great deal of the traditional custom is shocked deeply. The tradition becomes much stranger for the youth. This thesis selects kitchen appliance, which is a special kind of product closely linked to people's daily life, as a carrier for conducting the thought of emotional design. This thesis analyses types, developments, design condition and design key element of the domestic kitchen appliance. It is hoped that the suitable design of Chinese family kitchen appliance can be explored through the analysis of emotional design and the investigation of the young man's life style, so that the phenomenon of apathy and monotony in local kitchen appliance can be improved. The feasibility of emotional design for the kitchen appliance is discussed at the end of the thesis. Try to simplify the cooking life of people and inherit the Chinese dietetic culture at the same time with the emotional design of kitchen appliance.The results of this research have a certain meaning of real guidance for family kitchen appliance emotional design, a good research point and method for the family kitchen appliance in China, and provide the possibility for follow-up research.
