The Research On The Military Defense Of District Of Xuanfu And Datong In The Middle Stage Of Ming Dynasty

During the whole Ming dynasty, the northern defense was of vital importance to the prosperity and weakness of Ming dynasty. The Ming government established a series of military areas and formed nine important Towns in the frontier. Among the nine important Towns, Xuanfu and Datong have a lot of common in the districts, administrative system and stratagem. They were very important, which was the main belt against the southern invasion of Mongolians, and which was also the main threatening direction from the Mongolians.In the background of space-time of the military defense of district of Xuanfu and Datong in the middle stage of Ming dynasty, this paper will focus on analyzing the influence of establishment of the military defense of district of Xuanfu and Datong on the relationship, and the change situations of the fortresses and stations after the pectination of the region's political and military situations from "Tu-Mu Coup" to "An-Da paying tribution and receiving award"(1449-1571). At the same time , I will do textual research and analysis on the establishment of the military defense of district of Xuanfu and Datong ,rear service and arms and equipment in order to find the orientation of the Ming-Mongolians' relationship and the trend of the social and economic development of Ming dynasty.
