About Duras: The Misreading Between Chinese Literature And French Literature

By analysing The Lover, the famous novel of French writer Marguerite Duras and her life journey from Indochina to France, the article show us the great influences of Duras in China. We call them "the upsurge of Duras in China ",it is a cultural and literary phenomenon.Actually, this reflection of Duras isn't full-scale in the study of Duras, it's only one part of her works. The Chinese readers and writers learned from Duras nothing but the novel The Lover.Because of Duras, there were many Chinese women writers who applied themselves to the body writing like Duras. Duras was forgotten by The Chinese writers and readers have forgotten Duras's identity as a New Novel writer.On the other hand, the Chinese women writers were introduced to France in the name of "pretty women writers". The French commenter were interested with them, because they thought the pretty women writers were the representations of anti social structure and they had the inspirations of liberty, they were the great feminists in China. For this raison, They sing high praise of the Chinese women writers in France.But in fact, the Chinese women writers were not feminists at all. Their female body writing can not against the male system.When we face to the misreading between the two cultures and the two countries, how do we avoid them?...
