Liu Zhenyun is a serious contemporary writers, always devoting himself to torture life and search for ultimate meaning. His narration of New History in 1990 is a painful thinking of existence which re-examines social life through the renarration of history to makes reflection and criticism on the Hometown or Native China and suspicion and dissatisfaction on the entire human life.The exploration of spirit sinks into the ultimate of absurdity survival. This paper try to analyze Liu Zhenyun home series fiction's mind course and explore its new historical narrative features in four aspects. The first part analyzes Liu Zhenyun's great awakening of the New History consciousness. He has built up the civil history and the "personal" history in contrast with the official history, attempting to re-find the original environment by historical retardation. The second part analyzes Liu Zhenyun's painful discoveries. He returnes to the Homeland of the history to inquire about the existence repeatedly, However he discover an alarming absurd sight. The third part analyzes Liu Zhenyun's big rave and joke with tears. Liu Zhenyun narrative the history with the attitude of rave and game to explore the significance of their existence, but the frivolous games can not cover up the big pain in his heart after he has fully awaken to the very tragic history. The fourth part analyzes the great value of Liu Zhenyun. Liu Zhenyun is an existence ponder and artistic seeker which showes the great meaning of his creativion.
