Cultural capital and cultural contradictions are China's current unavoidable issues. Along with the process of economic globalization and the rapid development of information technology, the world's cultural capital and cultural policy gradually radiate to China and we are also growing recognition of culture's tremendous impact and constraints of the contemporary socio-economic life. Future world competition will be the competition of cultural productive forces. However, there are many inevitable contradictions and problems in the course of China's cultural capital development. Therefore, studying cultural capital and cultural contradictions not only have great significance in grasping the world situation, but also can deepen our correct understanding of China's cultural industry and cultural contradictions. Also it is beneficial for us to conduct a systematic analysis of the status quo of China's contemporary cultural contradictions and thus we can accordingly raise the integrated countermeasures. And it is of great theoretical and practical significance in the promotion of China's comprehensive social development and the construction of a harmonious society. This paper focuses on the contradiction between the Chinese cultural capital in the course of development and the cultural systems and the countermeasures to settle the conflicts. The text is divided into four parts.Part I: Overview of cultural capital. It mainly Analyze the meaning of culture, capital, cultural capital and cultural contradictions. Among them, "culture" is a basic concept. I follow from the perspective of "cultural economics" to explore the concept of culture, and put more emphasis on a wider significance for understanding and awareness of culture, that is culture is an comprehensive concept as the sum of all material and spiritual civilization created by human, the extension of human beings themselves and the integration of theory, practice and development.Part II: cultural capital development. I think that consumption of the culture is the prerequisite for the development of cultural capital, because cultural consumption is the final result of consuming culture. Thus I take the cultural industry as a model to analyze the status of the development of China's cultural capital, as well as the dual impact of cultural capital, namely cultural productive forces and culture conflicts.Part III: Cultural contradictions in Chinese context. China's contemporary cultural contradictions are contradictions between the logic of cultural capital and the system of socialist culture. Economically, the market economy and commodity production led to a cultural trade following to the exchange rules, resulting in cultural goods into the community as a whole. However, there are conflicts and fractures between the logic of cultural capital and self-fulfillment norms which are pursued in the contemporary socialist culture system. Specific performance are contradictions between the development of cultural industries and cultural pan-economic, cultural sovereignty and hegemonic discourse, promote consumption and curb consumerism, globalization and localization of contradictions, and so on.Part IV: countermeasures to resolve contemporary cultural contradictions. With China's specific national conditions to explore the social and cultural root causes of conflict, thus I propose appropriate countermeasures. I think that necessary to reshape the traditional Chinese Confucian cultural sovereignty, and to innovate cultural system, trying to put forward ways and means to resolve the cultural contradictions. In this paper, viewed from the relationships of cultural capital cultural contradictions, quoted Daniel Bell's established ideal type of fracture which existed in the three major areas as economic, political and cultural areas and Pierre Bourdieu's "cultural capital theory," followed from critical principles of the text to the situation, the theoretical study and the principle of theoretical research innovation, the author analyzed the capitalization of culture and its impact in the context of China and conducted feasibility studies and analysis on how to deal with China's current cultural contradictions.
