At the beginning of 80's in 20 centuries, along with modernization's progress of our country continuous speeding, the surplus labor force of the village start on a large scale transferring toward to the city, the streets and alleys of city also all start being full of the"farmer-workers". On one hand they did huge contribution for city construction and economic development, on the other hand, they could be in line with modern civilization, having as soon as possible wealthy of opportunity. The emergence of the phenomenon is not only a reasonable choice of a"farmer worker", but also is an inevitable fact of modernization development .At a lot of west nations, moving farmers can be live (regardless in a city or a village) to purchase new houses lately, and acquire gradually the right of the native residents equally, they can be subjected to the protection of law similar to native residents, enjoy the social welfare treatment equally, and acquire the equal social opportunities of employment and being taught and social status. However, the circumstance of China are not all, because of the system of social structure and restriction of economic condition, at the mean time of stepping into the city, these"farmer-workers"not only cannot enjoy the treatment with native residents in the city, but also worried with the education problems of their children. Many of them cannot resolve the problems that their children go into the city to attend and will face, such as: Bad housing condition, high cost of education, having no of traffic safety guarantee, etc. Hence they only can choose to leave their children at village, and entrust to let others shine on to see on behalf, eventually shape the situation of"farmer-workers"parents and their children to box off two sides. A new minority community"left-behind children"appear.The stage of elementary and primary school are the key period to a child that form their thoughts, philosophy of life, global view, because of the influence of social environments, lack of the family life and education, life and study of the"left-behind children"change badly. Result of studying becomes bad only one problem of"left-behind children", make more what person worried is the comprehensive character, moral qualities education of the children and the problem of the personality development, influenced the healthy growth of mind and body seriously. The special social environment of growing, vacant of mental state from vulgar and depressive have imperceptibly changing influence on the minority community. So, what kind of influence? No sooner in the future, how will they influent on our society? The series of the problems should take our concern.The research takes village community as a"cut-in point"to study the mental health of"left-behind children", compares with the research which take school as"cut-in point", it can analyze the living environments of"left-behind children"more completely, bring the guardians of"left-behind children", "non-left-behind children"into the research also can help us analyzing the living and mental world of"left-behind children".In the meantime the research draw the conclusion not only through the statistic analysis, thorough studying of community, comprehending of living world and mental world to a special social role are all important methods of the research.In addition to the comparison between"left-behind children"and"non-left-behind children", the research also discusses the influence of different types of guarding on the psychological condition of"left-behind children", it helps us understand and analyze the psychological condition of"left-behind children"and causing more completely.This text carries on a comparison of mental health condition between"left-behind children"and"non-left-behind children","left-behind boys"and"left-behind girls", different types of"left-behind children", from the angle of psychology and society to analyze the various health problems of which exist in different types of children, and put forward some countermeasures for resolving, appeal related government sections to carry on reforming from the system in the meantime, resolve the problems of"left-behind children"by the root.
