Tremendous changes have been taken place in Hong Kong and China filmdom during the period of reunification with China from 1997 to 2007. "cooperate-film" is getting better and becoming the main force of influencing the ticket office, especially after entering into the CEPA agreement in 2004. It changes the pattern of Chinese filmdom, accelerates the coming of "china cinema system", stimulates the entering of Chinese localization, promotes the development of "zhongguodapian" and changes the tastes of Chinese audience. The development of cooperate-film not only influences the Chinese filmdom, but also has a profound effect on local filmdom. "cooperate-film" has become an important method of commercial cooperation and cultural communicating since the first rough cooperation 20 years ago. The thesis based on (the) general situation of the Chinese filmdom development, using a research method combining the fact with the theory, by analyzing how the CEPA agreement affects the Chinese filmdom in aspects of production, marketing ,culture, and how the Chinese filmdom has struggled against the Hong Kong filmdom, and rapidly develop itself by using the superiority of the both. The thesis focus on cooperation of China and Hong Kong filmdom, study how they work out to go through the contradiction and finally reach the ALL WIN. There is a competitive, cooperative and inextricable relationship between Hong Kong and China filmdom; meanwhile, there also exist institutional and changes of cultural views.
