César. Franck, founder of National Music camp, one of the most important person in French music history, acted on the world music stage as an expert on organ, music education and compose. His activity in music field made people learn more about French instrumental music and led the developing direction of French music. Franck's distinguished compositional style opened not only a new field for his composite of music, but also brought deep influence on many following composers.. Franck's works put the time characteristic in the classical tradition, and lodges his individual style in the bright makings of sacred music." Violin and Piano Sonata in A Major " ,one of his representative works, occupies the important point in the violin music . The article consists of five chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the composer and the work. Chapter2 and 3 research respectively on structural and subject of musical. Chapter 4 is study on Harmony and Tonality, Chapter 5 discusses work's characteristics and influence. Based on a meticulous, deep analysis and study on the form structure, theme and tone of the "A-major Sonata for Violin and Piano", and its other major elements , we attempt to refine the creative characteristic of Franke's music, and inquire about the composer exquisite and the outstanding composition technology, and the indication music development direction keen insight.
