Theory And Practice Of The Chinese Communist Party's Policy On Science And Technology During Anti-Japanese War

During anti-Japanese war the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) encountered extremely hard situation. In order to develop and stabilize governments in anti-Japanese bases and win the war, guided by Marxism thoughts on science and technology CCP held firmly the thought line of theory associated with practice and seeking truth through practice. On the basis of inheriting the previous thoughts on development of science and technology CCP made a series of policies enhancing the development of science and technology and practiced in all the bases. It is the beginning of CCP's exploration on the adaptation of Marxism thought on science and technology in China and contributes greatly to the final victory in the war. Thanks to the series of line, guidance and policies on science and technology made and carried out by CCP, researches and practice of science and technology in the bases became prosperous and made great achievements, which significantly gratified the need of the war and construction of the bases. Meanwhile, a large group of technology backbones and managers were cultivated and experience on science development was accumulated. All the above supported greatly our whole nation in the anti-Japanese war and demonstrated initially the great power of science and technology as the first productivity.
