The compliance of truth is one of the oldest theories on truth. Aristotle inherited the tradition of ancient Greek philosophy, pursuing the essence of the world while remembered that the world was meaningful just because of human. The inornate idea of pursuing the truth based on the human experience established the foundation of later philosophers' exploration. Premodern empiricism stresses the subject and changed the foundation of compliance from object to subject so that the empiricism has a strong odour of agnosticism. The modern linguistic philosophy inherited the tradition of stressing the subject of empiricism, and through defining the object of experience as a fact, it successfully developed the compliance of truth, which can be expressed at the level of pure logic.Surveying the compliance of truth from perspectives of logic and philosophy is requested by the characteristics of Aristotle's theory itself. He set up two standards for his theory: one is the compliance at the level of logic and the other is the compliance at the level of philosophy. Locke and some others have all made their contributions at the two levels. The production of modern logic caused the unification of the compliance of truth at the level of logic, but they overreached themselves too much on the way of logic. To deduce the world from the logic is only an ideal. Modern philosopher Davidson and Dummett extended the foundation of logic, but they extend the focus of theory to the whole social life. Either simply putting the world into the human experience or using the human experience to shine up the outside world would always produce such and such problems. So it can be drawn that the monodirectional compliance needs changing into a bidirection and coadaption form which combines two monodirectional compliances, so it is definitely superior to the traditional form and this tendency was also embodied in the developing process of compliance. Surveying the compliance of truth from both perspectives of logic and philosophy is helpful for us to further understand the truth and the compliance of truth.
