Cultivating Innovative Psychological Quality Of University Students In The Mental Health Education

Innovation is the soul of a nation's progress, providing inexhaustible impetus for a country's prosperity. "Education shoulders a special mission in national innovation and creativity ", "the source of creativity" and " the cultivators and promoters of advanced capacity and culture".Mental health education is one of the most importance ways to cultivate the innovative psychological quality. However, the necessities of mental health education in the cultivation of innovative psychological quality has not drawn due attention in theory and practice.The creation of this study consists: based on a survey of the development of student innovative psychological quality in six western universities, aims at providing a series of solutions to the problems in the development of innovative psychological quality. On one hand, convert concepts and enhance the understanding of the role mental health plays in the cultivation of innovative psychological quality. One the other hand, explore possible patterns of cultivating innovative psychological quality in the mental health education through trial and error. First, introduce the cultivation of innovative psychological quality into the system of mental health education; create an atmosphere in class helpful to the development of the innovative psychological quality of students; improve the innovative psychological quality of campus consultants; enlarge the number of innovative teacher. Second, strengthen the cultivation of innovative psychological quality in the extra-curricular activities of mental health education. Third, take advantage of mental health education to contribute to the self-development of the innovative psychological quality of university students; establish a network for student psychological evaluation to enable students to do self-assessment; provide developing consultation, that is, provide students with personalized programs for the cultivation of their innovative psychological quality; help students overcome psychological barriers; expend the training of innovative psychological quality and stimulate innovation potential.
