The Chinese left-wing female writers have the double identities of the revolutionary writers and the female writers in the 1930s, their text also has the double discourse features. They maintain consistency with the left-wing mainstream discourse in general in their writing, but under the same level, there are still many discourse features of so-called bourgeois intellectual female in their writing. As a spokesman for the female, they always give prominence to pay great attention to the feminine liberation and the feminine existence in their writing. This thesis mainly elaborates the feminine body writing of the left-wing female writers, and attempts to understand again the difficult and winding liberation course of the modern Chinese female from this perspective. In addition to the introduction and conclution, this thesis falls into three chapters, which will be detailed as follows.Chapter One: The feminine body writing in the patriarchal culture. The female has lost her power of speech in the family under the heavy pressure of the traditional patriarchal culture, She becomes a silent person. In silence, the body appears. the feminine body becomes only place of the feminine life significance and the value. The left-wing female writers return the tragic fate of the old Chinese female from describing the feminine body in the old-style family, and point out the fundamental reason of this tragedy fate lies in the imprisonment and oppression of Chinese patriarchal culture.Chapter Two: the feminine body writing In the revolutionary discourse. The modern Chinese female awakened saw the hope of the liberation of body from the social revolution, especially from the proletariat revolution. Many of them join in the revolution, and hope to obtain the liberation of feminine body from the class and national liberation. However, the male discourse still is the center of the revolutionary discourse, there are still the phenomenon of sexism in the revolution. In this sense, the feminine liberation is the elimination of the feminine sex character as the premise, the revolutionary female has not certainly obtained the true liberation.Chapter Three: The desire expresstion of the feminine body in the imagination. During the May Fourth Movement period, the masculine enlightenment thinkers regard the feminine liberation as sub- topic of individual character liberation on the time agenda. The sexual liberation as an important aspect of the feminine liberation is also considered by the masculine enlightenment thinkers, the outlook of modern Eros seeing mind and body as an integrated whole becomes their universal recognition. However, since the heavy historial burden for thousands of years, the female writers in the May Fourth Movement period still regard the love of spirit as their outlook of Eros, But in some left-wing female writers's works, this outlook of Eros seeing mind and body as an integrated whole actually obtains the unusual imaginary expresstion. However, the outlook of Eros of the left-wing female writers represented by Ding Ling can not be realized in the the revolutionary discourse, people often say that it is a kind of discourse and imagination of bourgeois intellectual female. |
