Study On The Tourism Exploitation Of Wushifen's Former Residence In Wudi County Of Shandong Province

As a special case study, the article aims at Wushifen's former residence which had a history of more than 500 years, and carries out a profound study on Wu's family run and fall, history of architecture and space design, combination with multi-subject knowledges such as geography, sociology by the methods of investigation, measurement and comparison analysis. The article mainly reveals the regularity of development and succession and explores the characteristic and connotation of the residence through investigating status and historical data, so as to describe the residence scene correctly, uncover the historical culture connotation and propagate cultural peculiarity of local tradition, indicate a more suitable program to protect and exploit the residence.To analyze the development and influential factor of the residence involved of natural condition, political factors and family structure, we studied on the Wu's family run and fall, achievement of Wushifen, and inquired the relics of the Wushifen's former residence.Wushifen's former residence includes south yard and north yard. The two yards are not only interdependent but also connect tightly, so they are an inseparable whole. The residence is a typical countryard dwelling combined with the North of Shandong architecture style in Ming and Qing Era. The residence experienced three stages of formation, prosperity and decline, during 230 years of building and extension of the yard. The style transforms from simple country-yard dwelling to country-yard dwelling with south yard and north yard, and western garden in north yard. The whole structure is harmonious with south yard and north yard in order.The local architecture of Wushifen's former residence is distinct. Exquisite craftwork of stone carving, elegant tower, concise outlook and decoration in detail show up a typical countryard dwelling reflected Confucianism culture in the North of Shandong Province. The residence space and surroundings, the whole and the part are in harmony with changes in unity. Wushifen's former residence possesses higher art and culture value.In recent years, the local government thinks highly of protection and exploitation of Wushifen's former residence, in line with the principles of protection historical style and features, reviving primary appearance of former residence, improving surroundings of former residence, shining the vigor of the residence. Based on status of utilization and exploitation, we proposed the new idea and methods to exploit the residence, a plan of tourism exploitation. All that we have done possesses significant social value and practical importance for protection of historical culture heritage, propagating national culture, giving an impulse to the study of history culture.
