Over the past many years, the research to traditional opera is confined to two aspects. In recent years, some researchers begins with other discipline research method such as anthropology, folklore and communication to study traditional opera, shine on traditional opera culture to the view by some angle of views of dissimilarity foretime, the reason that this text's choosing to commence to study Chinese traditional opera from the folk theatrical troupe is exactly according to thus of reason.At present traditional opera in general downturn, state-owned troupe are relatively difficult, but folk opera performances is increasingly prosperous, it takes folk theatrical troupe as a main performance carriers, and this phenomenon have already spread the country, particularly prominent in rural areas.This paper has been selected Changsha civil Flower-drum opera troupe that performed in urban areas as a research object, watch from its form, as "city troupe" , it have bigger difference with widespread and existent country troupe in the whole country with more special sample value, judging from inherence, they have much identical intrinsic characteristics such as civilian, service, vivid, independence, that is why the civil troupe could rise in the difficult circumstance.This paper would like take a detailed analysis to Changsha civil city troupe, to reflect phenomenon that the art of traditional opera in a state of survival under the contemporary social background, with this purpose ,we wish to inquire the movement track of Chinese traditional opera in the past, now and future.
