The developing track of Qing Liberal InquisitionLiterary inquisition during the Qing Dynasty is not only in the event of the density but also much higher than the previous feudal dynasty from the targets the contents and the methods. Things are the same fort the Shunzhi Dynasty, which the main target is also intellectuals of han race with the completion of this task Qing Dynasty used State Violence Agencies.Although the liberal inquisition of Kang Xi's was not so deliberately designed and some of the cases did not finally come into an inquisition, it's target is nevertheless obvious—the intellectuals of Han, especially those gaint intellectuals. The Kang Xi Dynasty played a transitional role in history, for not only did it make those little cases in Shun Zhi Dynasty big ones that shocked the whole nation, but it also helped the officers then to be familiar of liberal inquisition and gradually master this malicious skill to oppress the people, which inevitably contributed to the coming of a darker future. The liberal inquisition of Yong Zheng's were mainly serious cases which always involved hundreds of people. Moreover, compared with those of Kang Xi's, officers of the government began to became victims. Yong Zheng almost developed liberal inquisition into an art. Some cases went through inquisition after inquisition and were continuously spred. More people were getting involved and almost everyone felt the pervasive danger. During Yong Zheng Dynasty, a relevant theory called Zhu Xinlun was developed Qian Long went on a more serious campaign of thinking controlling, in which he not only messed up the imperial examination and burned folk books, but also did he made great contribution to peaking liberal inquisition. The total of over 130 cases was more than the sum of all other emperors'. Qian Long aim his spear towards the whole society and his means were extremly crule and strick.. However, this was definitely not the impulse of Qian Long's crulty, instead it manifested the deleberate scheme of the Feudal Society to fool its people. The main form of Qing Liberal Inquisition 1 Seizure the banning book1 Seizure the banning bookSome unofficial history of Ming dynasty still remains in common people, so the government has to think over of them. Qianlong has launched a large-scale activities of banning book, making every province put the activities first place. During the activities, literary inquisition increased because of Seizure the banning book. With the activities going further, Qianlong gave severe punishment to the concerned people. The aim of the codification of "Si Ku Quan Shu" is as plain as the nose on the face, not only making a conclusion of the Chinese history, but also burning the books which is negative to the Qing dynasty to the ground. The codification is the way, while banning is the aim. Therefore, it makes another feature of banning the books in Qing dynasty. In a word, it is the top in history of banning the book.2 Because the Robinsons commit the tabooOne characteristic of the feudal autocratic system is making closed area of the use of words. For example, the name of the king was not allowed to use directly, or you will be punished. Then, people had to think over before writing. Sometimes, literary inquisition came out when the king is reading the article.3 The king is making An atmosphere of terrorKangxi and Yongzheng mainly wanted to kill the people who were against the government and the opposition forces, but most officer and scholars were convicted. Qianlong gave crime to the low class scholars casually only to create an atmosphere of terror and show how powerful he is to the people.Literary inquisition in Qing Dynasty became more and more fierce mainly for it is a different nationality ruling China. They wanted to stop the resistance of Han nationality and made them yield.4 The writers apply for creditAmong the literary inquisition in Qing Dynasty, many of them is some writers applied for credit. However, instead of getting honor, they are put in prison. The reason is not few.Literary inquisition in Qing Dynasty is not an accident, there were many reasons why. It is the centralized feudal autocracy that caused so many deaths. Literary inquisition in Qing Dynasty show the atmosphere of terror and the power of right. The dissection of the cause of Qing Liberal Inquisition1 Qing strengthened the centralization of its power and trespassed the arbitrary suppression of MinistersThe continuing weakness of the right to the Council of Ministers who attended the discussion of the country's policy is one of the s of constantly enhancing the of power ,and there is another representation of the centralization of autocratic monarchy continuously being strengthened that is constantly combating different parties. Some cases of Literary inquisition are not only picking about the mistakes from the literal, but bring charges by out of context, which aims to combat cliques. The aim is that the internel of ruling class in order to continue to focus on the rights, achieves the objective of combating the enemies using the tool of Literary inquisition. With the strengthening of imperial power, more and more people went to the jail because of Literary inquisition. Meanwhile Literary inquisition also intensified. The rulers of Qing dynasty launched these Literary inquisition on the purpose of maintaining the rule of the Qing Dynasty, which was the results of system of centralization autocratic monarchy to strengthen, so to some degree, Literary inquisition is a natural product to maintain the rule of the Qing Dynasty.2 Neo-Confucianism, and Confucianism to strengthen ideological and controlIn order to strengthen the ideological Qing Dynasty inherited the previous feudal rulers for using the weapons. Promoting to read books of Confucianism and give privileges to Yansheng. All the cultural and academic activities must be to Confucius and Confucianism as the standard of Neo-Confucianism or they can not escape the punishment. Qing Dynasty strengthen the control of ideological by strengthening the centralization of power, which made the situation worse and worse. Qing Dynasty also pay lots of attention on the words the writer used anything include word of"Ming"or"Qing"might be punished. Therefore, the numerous ethnic conflicts is another factor for Literary inquisition.3 the Manchu'rulers wanted to frighten those Chinese liberatorsWhen the army of the Qing dynasty conquered the central plains, the anti-thoughts of Qing dynasty, the anti-thoughts were still being expressed in kinds of literal works. It made the rulers worried. And they were afraid that the people of Han start to resist again. So, the rulers of Qing dynasty began to take powerful measures to control the public thoughts, to prevent the people of Han from conflicting again. They took these measures on the basis of nonsense. Their conspicuous intention is that they wanted to repress the Han liberators who would obey to their orders without going against the Manchu. Among the reasons of the appearance of Literary Inquisition, some are based on the rulers, who judged the meanings of the literatures from the words instead of contents; some are because the liberators committed the taboo of the King; it is more curious that some people of Han took advantages of the Literary Inquisition, they revenged because of their personal matters so that the rulers had to handle these problems seriously.4 the mutual accusation phenomena of Han peopleThe reasons why there are so many Literary Inquisitions, another reason is that the liberators of Han accused each other because of their individual benefits and revenge. During the Qianlong Time, after the case of Hu Zhongzao, the number of mutual accusation cases became larger and larger. During the forties to fifties of the Qianlong Time, the Literary Inquisition arrived at the climax, so did the mutual accusation. Most of those cases were resulted from bring a false charge against others on purpose. The mutual accusation phenomena resulted from many reasons , each differet from each other. Generally speaking, accusations happened because of the selfish motives of the accusers and the most popular ones were property accusation. Confronted with the prevailing mutual accusation phenomena, Qian Long Emperor did have some worries. He often criticize officers by using some over-handled cases so as not to help the increase of mutual accusation phenomena. But all these trivial effort did not make any sense. Only until Late Qian Long Dynasty did these phenomena gradually came to an end.
