The Princesses grew in the deep imperial palace since the childhood .belonging to the special classes, enjoying the most luxury life without any sorrow ,They accepted the best education at that time , In the Han Dynasties , being similar to the kings and the nobilities at the same time , the princesses owned vast territories after closured. And often received huge rewards from the Court, So they had great fortunes to provide them wealthy lives and promise them easily in various economic activities. In addition, the princesses owned grand mercure rank and a number of corresponding attendant officials, and lots of political protection from the Court, So they had higher political status and power. As a result, the princesses were able to participate in many political activities. Under the protection of the imperial power, the marriage of the princesses contained larger freedom, however , because of blending too many political factors, their marriage became the link between the royal and the social power, Which gave the princesses' marriage more profound significance, being filled with tragic color. The princesses' descendants also belonged to the scope of the aristocrats, had many privileges, the princesses who married for cementing relations with rulers of minority nationalities in the border areas were not really princesses , their origin,growing environment and the lives of marriage were different from the traditional princesses, as the envoys of the contacting between the Han dynasty and the Minorities, the meaning of their marriage was significant, whose descendants were the crystallization of the friendly national relations , most of them also did great contributions to the development of the national relations.
