Harmonization Research Between Kitchen Environment And Cookers Based On Visual Psychology Theory

This thesis tries to study on harmonization between kitchen environment and cookers in modern urban residences based on visual psychology theory.First of all, this thesis illustrates the origin, definition of visual psychology theory, the contents and fields it studies .It also gives a detailed explanation to the concept of harmonization.Then the thesis makes a study on how to create a harmonious relationship among users, kitchen environment and kitchenware from the perspective of users' characters, values, and functional accessibility needs through designed investigation.Firstly, the author collects kitchen materials of modern urban residence then sorts them through, then sums up the factors which have influence on the relationship between kitchen environment and kitchenware.Secondly, to discover the factors which affect the relationship between kitchen environment and kitchenware, the author systematically analyzes the results got from having interview with experts, users, designing questionnaire, taking photos of kitchenware. According to the survey above, this thesis builds a factor table, according to which the questions in questionnaire are worked out.Thirdly, the author makes another investigation to certain particular users about their using experience and feelings and also has interviews with them on the requirements of ideal kitchens to fill in the designed questionnaire.Fourthly, the thesis analyzes the results to build users' psychology model.According to users' psychology model, the thesis concentrates on the study of how to create a harmonious relationship between kitchen environment and kitchenware in modern housing based on visual psychology theory. Under the instruction of users' visual psychology, the paper makes a deep exploration and study on factors which can improve and realize the harmonization between kitchen environment and kitchenware in modern city housing. Finally, the paper gets the ideas and methods on how to realize harmonization between them. This paper can work as a reference for designers studying relationship between industrious products and architectural environment, and work out an approach to meet consumers' psychology needs when kitchen environment and kitchenware are designed...
