Comment On The Englightment Significance Of Kant's Formal Aesthetics To Aesthetic Education

Form,as the core category of Kant's aesthetics, is a concept with very complicated significations in the history of aesthetics. Its significances are greatly far away different in different context. It's important contribution to the formal aesthetic for Kant to bring forward a concept named "priori form"and meticulously expound it. It's appering of the concept and Kant's unique view on "form" that establish Kant's unreplaced position in the history of aesthetics.New cognition to the value of Kant's formal aesthetics is important. It can not be allowed to underestimate on the theory and practice of present aesthetic education. Aesthetic tendency is not noly limited to superficial decoration, but also infiltrate to human's ways of thinking and expression. Beauty and aesthetic generalize to the every corner in people's life. The resulting is that people concern on sensory stimulation too much but neglect to shape their spiritual world and improve their moral cultivation. In a sense, people's perceptual world is enriched greatly. But it is uneasy that many people only pay attention to sense stimulation, not to sensebility upgrade. However,the education mechanism always uses methods which are rough and simple. On the one hand, they claims purely moral indoctrination, on the other hand, "abstinence" is demanded,by excluding absolutely all reasonable emotional desire of the students. Practice has shown that the consequence of this kind of education is often counterproductive. How is the reasonable strategy implemention of aesthetic education most active and effective in the current? This is precisely the point of this paper.Kant's formal aesthetics undoubtedly provide useful guiding ideology for our exploration. Interpreting his aesthetic thinking, and exploring the significance of the aesthetic ideology to current aesthetic education is the main content of this paper. This paper is divided into the following three parts:The first part. Clarify the multiple significances of "form" in history of western aesthetics and the relatively stable significance in history of Chinese aesthetics. Dfine Kant's formal aesthetics,referring to the unique aesthetic ideology which take "form" as its core.The second part. Point out the unique significance of "form" in Kant's aesthetic ideology by analyzing related chapters of Critique of Judgment and other works of Kant. In Kant's aesthetics,form is the key factor which human has humanity and personality. It's his unique perspective on form that bring great inspiration to our aesthetic education. The third part. Kant's perspective on form at least bring us three inspirations:form is extremely important for human being characteristic;paying to form doesn't mean that propse sense stimulation;the purpose of aesthetic education lies in people who have all-around development centering on morality cultivating.
