The modern society, which is overlaid by media, is also a society which is presented by media. By this means, it is a medialization age in fact. The medialization age is a name for the mode of culture produce, spread, acceptance and consumption in our society. In other words, now the way of culture operation and the appearance of Cultural life in our society are mainly presented by the mass media, particularly with three marking medium as newspapers and magazines, internet. Therefore, we have to bring the mass media into the field of academic study when we study the development and future of literary criticism.The thesis tries to inquiry into an important influence which fast development of the mass media and its control of words right act on the current literary criticism and their interaction trend, and explains the changes of the operation way of the literary criticism, creation process, dissemination and acceptance etc. in the medialization age. We affirm the aggressive aspect of the interaction between media and literary criticism. We also analyze the serious problems which are laid in medializtion of literary criticism in an objective and reasonable way. In order to develop literary criticism healthfully and harmoniously in the new cultural context, some constructive speculations are put forward.On the present condition of literary criticism, medium or medialization is taken as a breakthrough point on literary criticism without question. We can find out that literary criticism is easily influenced and restricted by medium from a view of the relation between media changes and literary criticism. Particularly in the medialization age, medium has an important influence everywhere at any time. The medialization age not only mean a society which is place of consumerism, but also is the age which belongs to a picture to revel. Because of its merchandise consciousness, market consciousness, consume consciousness, global consciousness, amusement and recreation consciousness, the overall development of literary criticism always contact an active part of the mass medium as disseminated carriers closely, and then make the medialization become a predominant characteristic on the development of literary criticism.As the chief medium of communication in the medialization age, the mass media extends to the fields of literary criticism with its overwhelmingly technological forces , and it become the most violent and active development trend of medialization in the history of literary criticism in China since the 1990s. The mass media provide better conditions for the produce, spread, text transformation of literary criticism as a form of tool, and act on the whole processes of the literary criticism activity with its principles of operation, ways of operation, directions of aesthetics and standards of value as a kind of important exterior to get into literary criticism, and forced literary criticism to change its operation way, creation process, dissemination and acceptance etc. and more or less branded some medialization in it. In the interactive process of media and literary criticism, the distance between literary critics and audiences is nearer, and the taste and quality of the medias themselves is improved and it is helpful to form and promote diversification in the literary criticism system.The development trend of medialization of literary criticism, which has become objective fact as a kind of cultural phenomena, is the inevitable outcome of derivative and continuous cultural right of the mass media. In fact, it is not reasonable action to negate the existence of medializative criticism as a kind of culture phenomenon, to negate the deconstruction and pressure on the tradition critical solution from medializative criticism, and to negate the temptation and attraction to the aesthetic interest of literary consumers from medializative criticism.To negate those things reveal that a critic hide his sickness for fear of treatment and can not guide medializative criticism to develop healthfully. Therefore, the medium which literary criticism turn development trend, keeping noodles the existent in this development trend, is a right attitude to face series of big chronic and stubborn disease in the development of medialization of literary criticism. To a certain extent, the merchandise consciousness, operation way, aesthetic interest, standards of value of medium itself cause the problems such as a disturbance or controversy filled with the fields of literary criticism, mercenary business feeling and the absence of aesthetic criticism etc, also make the literary criticism become a kind of deceitful prosperity.Therefore, it is a grand mission history and the era have entrusted to us that we preach subject accomplishment, standards of value, and aesthetic demands of literary criticism again, and bring up new demands for it in accordance with its practical criticism. It is also a reasonable choice to lead literary criticism to develop healthfully.Combining theory with practical criticism and comparing traditional criticism with medializative criticism are the basic research methods applied to in this thesis. Based on most extensive achievements of past generations as well as our own, this thesis has doubtlessly tremendous possibilities to put the highly current study of literature criticism in the medialization age on a profound basis forward continuously, and make great effort to incarnate serious humanities research and research the change of ontology of literature criticism in the medialization age in a buoyant mood.
