Resultative complement is not only a key grammar point but a difficult one in Teaching Chinese as a second language. Based on the theory of modern instructional technology and from the aspect of errors analysis,the thesis probes into the topic of "teaching resultative complements under a multi-media environment". By sample observation and group tests, the paper generalizes the main errors the students usually made when using the complement of result firstly. Thereafter, according to the evaluation and the suggestions on the instruction under Multi-media environment given by the students, by means of the coursewares in the instruction experiment, it gathers some statistics of and analyzes the different effects in the traditional instruction and computer-assisted instruction in structure, meaning, and function of the resultative complements these three aspects, and includes teaching the resultative complements under a multi-media environment is more efficient. Then it provides some concrete tips for the TCSL instructors.The thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter brings forward the meaning, the subject of this paper and the status quo on resultative complements. The second chapter introduces the method of the research and the plan of the instruction experiments, and analyzes the questionnaire of the multi-media instruction before the experiment. Based on the former study and the students'tests, the third chapter presents the main errors of the foreign students when they use the resultative complement. The fourth, fifth, sixth chapters collect, compare and construe the post-experiment data from structural, sematic and pragmatic aspect and prove the experiment results based on related theories respectively. The seventh chapter arrives at conclution and puts forward some advises for the TCSL teachers.
