A Historical View To Ancient Villages And Towns Of Tingjiang River Basin In West Fujian

This paper is to study the ancient villages and towns of Tingjiang River basin in west Fujian.Tingjiang River as the historical and cultural birthplace of west Fujian, has preserved a lot of different styles of the various dynasties village and towns. This paper mainly through the historical perspective, try to use the methods and theory of history, geography, architecture, economics and demographic, to investigate the natural landscape and cultural landscape of the ancient villages and towns in Tingjiang River Basin historically. Investigation of the natural landscape, including rock, caves, streams, lakes and so on , the history of the human landscape inspection including Heritage and Vernacular Architecture. In the face of rapid destruction of towns and villages today, initiate the protection of ancient villages is very urgent, and the research of protection and development of ancient villages and towns will become very important, and the protection of ancient villages and towns should be developed between how to maintain coordination, and macrophages have also become problems .This paper will explore these aspects.
