An Elementary Introduction To Colors Of Chinese Folk Fine Arts And Fashionable Colors In Modern Design

China is a country with a long history and ancient cilvilization. It has rich natural resources and a large population. There are a wide variety of folk arts in China, which have long history, rich technology and culture. Their influnce has spread to every corner and field. The Chinese folk fine arts are considered as the gems of human art.The colors of Chinese folk fine arts come with the folk fine arts and develop with the development of the folk fine arts and human culture. It is a record of people's pursuit of aesthetic appreciation, and exploration into art. It is a brilliant gem for the human art. The disserting focuses on the whole study, analyzing systematically the origin, structure, nature and basic features. With the wood-graving New Year's painting, paper-cutting, printing and dyeing, ceramics,etc. as examples, an important element in Chinese folk fine arts—"color" is suggested. It deeply studies the relations between folk fine arts colors and the fashionable colors in modern design and tries to probe into the application of the colors of Chinese folk fine arts to the fashionable colors in modern design, through theory study and example analysis. The relations between the colors of Chinese folk fine arts and the fashionable colors in modern design, the influnce on the fashionable colors and the inheriting and development of Chinese folk fine arts colors are also analyzed and studied, which is significant for us to know about Chinese folk fine arts colors and to examine,judge and predict the developing trend of the fashionable colors in modern design.The dissertation consists of three parts. The first part is the first chapter, mainly expounding the origin, development and richness of the colors of Chinese folk fine arts and also the relations with "Five Color Concept" in Chinese traditional ethnic religion, and pointing out the factors that can be used for reference for the color theory of Chinese folk fine arts to modern graphic design. It has a new examination on the ancient folk fine arts from the angel of color.The second part is the second chapter, mainly comparing the colors of Chinese folk fine arts and the fashionable colors in modern design through analyzing the basic theory of the fashionable colors in modern design, and coming to conclude that the Chinese modern graphic design must combine with traditional colors if folk fine arts is aimed to be nationalized.The third part is the third chapter. It makes an analysis of the colors of Chinese folk fine arts, and expounds that it has a great influnce on the color-using in various modern design fields and great values in the fashionable colors in modern design, emphasizing that the color study of the Chinese folk fine arts will play an important role in predicting the developing trend of the fashionable colors in modern design.
