Kutadgu Bilig is a long 13,290 line poem written in Uighur by the Uighur outstanding thinker, scholar and poet Yusuf Khas Hajib Balasaghuni (full name:Yusuf Khass Hajib Balasaguni; Uyghur: (?). The book written in Mohammedian calendar 462 years-463 years (AD 1069 years-1070), are the works of Uighur Karahan period. On completion of this poem, it is presented to Tavghach Bughra Khan, the King of Kashgar, hope this poem can enlighten rulers and for which to make reasonable and orderly govern the country. In Kutadgu Bilig, the author focused on four main characters:Rising Sun, Full Moon, Highly Praised and Wide Awake, each representing the principle of Justice, Fortune, Wisdom and Man's Last End. With further more, Yusuf presented the many aspects involved in the design of country strategy. The Analects of Confucius are classics of Confucianism in Chinese Han. It is compiled by Confucius's disciples and followers to record the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples and mainly embodies the Confucian ideas of education, ethics and governance principles with other important ideas. In Kutadgu Bilig, Yusuf Khass Hajib is also expressing his unique understanding of education, ethics and social system in the form of Quotation. The Analects plays a vital role in Chinese Literature History since ancient times. Litterateur Zhao Pu of Northern Song Dynasty said:Half of the Analects rule the world. It has been listed together with The Great Learning, The Doctrine of the Mean, The Mencius, Classic of Poetry, Classic of Histroy, Classic of Rites, Classic of Changes and Spring and Autumn Annals as Four Books and Five Classics which are the lifelong learning bibliography of the ancient Han Chinese intellectuals, and it has bring far-reaching impact to the Ethical and cultural traditions of Han people. The Kutadgu Bilig was completed during the early stage of Karahan Khan ruling under Bugera. Yusuf Khass Hajib presented his wisdom and. talent in a set of strategies to bring the country from after war depression and pool social conditions into a prosper and peaceful living land. We have being weighting the great power of Han classical books and neglected some masterpieces in ethical literature. This paper is carrying out a parallel research by compare Uygur's Kutadgu Bilig and Han's The Analects in a same platform so as to restore the attention of ethical classics with understanding and valuation the impact to us. During today's social development and transition period, a thorough re-read and comparison of classic Uygur's state administration work, we can promote cultural exchange between nations, and also provide useful lesson for us to build a harmonious society to promote a forward development in a more equitable, prosperous and harmonious way.
