The Contrast Analysis Of "V Zhe" Existential Sentence And The Forecast Of It's Learning Difficulties

This article follows the four steps of contrast analysis theory: the description, the choice, the contrast and the forecast. That means we have to describe two languages; choose the contrast point of the languages; contrast and recognize the differences and the commons of the two languages; and then we can forecast the possible language spot which may cause mistakes. In speaking of this paper, it can be divided into these four steps: the description of "Vzhe" existential sentence about it's concept, structure, significance and the classification ; the choice of typical form of English existential sentence as the contrast object: "There + be+ NP+ (PP)" ; the contrast analysis from the syntax - semantics perspective; and through the contrast analysis, induce its similarities and differences spot and pointedly forecast the possible difficulties for the English native speakers when they learn this kind of sentence . Besides above processes, the design of questionnaire is also very necessary. A certain investigation can make the forecast be more accurate. The aim of contrast analysis is trying to promote the acquisition of this kind of Chinese existential sentence for foreign student and also provide a certain reference for teaching Chinese as second language. The whole text can be divides into four parts:First, the introduction part. This part mainly illustrated the reason of selecting this topic, the value of this research and the research method and steps of this paper. The paper's theory basis and the predecessor's correlation research provide the theory support for the article.Second, the limits, scope and characteristic of"Vzhe"existential sentence. The discussion includes the concept and the classification of the sentence, as well as the corresponding expression of the"Vzhe"existential sentence in the English. This part has more detailed description about the"Vzhe"existential sentence's limits, scope and characteristic.Third, the syntax - semantics contrast research of"Vzhe"existential sentence. From the syntax - semantics angle, this part divides the existential sentence into A, B, C three parts and carries on the systematic contrast analysis. It discussed the constitutions, the significance, as well as the position transformation of Chinese-English existential sentence in three sections of A, B and C. It's the main body of the article.Fourth, the difficulty forecast and analysis in Chinese"Vzhe"existential sentence acquisition. This part closely followed the third part, summarized the similarities and differences of Chinese-English existential sentence, which can be taken as a standard to judge the possible problems that the foreign student may encounter, and then we can forecast the learning difficulty and propose the corresponding test and solution.Fifth, the conclusion part. This part induced the similarities and differences of Chinese-English existential sentence once again. Finally, it also proposes insufficient aspects and some unresolved questions.
