This study, which is based on relevant research literature and open questionnaire survey, combines the characteristics of undergraduates and the requirements of psychological measurement to establish the questionnaire with a good reliability and validity on parent-child communication attitudes of undergraduates. And through this investigation, the current status and characteristics of undergraduates'attitude towards parent-child communication and their mentality adaptation, as well as the internal relations between them, are scientifically and objectively illustrated in this paper. Conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) In general, the future of students'current parent-child communication ability needs improvement. Through the analysis of the three sub-dimensions (awareness of the value, emotional experience, action tendency) the author finds that: the ability of undergraduates'parent-child communication is of the highest level, which is followed by the emotional experience. While, the action tendency is of the lowest level. The undergraduates differ on their attitudes towards parent-child communication on the ground of gender, majors, relationship among family members and parents'marital status。(2) Awareness of the value, emotional experience, action tendency on parent-child communication and their sub- factors tend to have significant positive correlation; different gender, grade, the location of the family, the relations among family members, the marital status of parents, these factors all lead to different degrees of significant differences on the level of awareness of the value, emotional experience, action tendency. Among these differences, gender, grade, the relations among family members and the marital status of parents have significant difference on the level of awareness of the value; the location of the family, gender, the relations among family members and the marital status of parents on the level of emotional experience; the grade and the relations among family members on the level of action tendency.(3) Based on how self-esteem and the anxiety of communication influence psychological adaptation, the author draws the conclusion that, in general, the level of undergraduates'psychological adaptation remains to be further improved. Different grades, academic achievement, family income level, the relations among family members and being cadres or not have significant differences on self-esteem. While only profession and being cadres or not have a significant impact on the anxiety of communication.(4) Different level groups of parent-child communication of undergraduates have significant differences on the aspects of self-esteem and anxiety of communication. At the same time by grouping the undergraduates on the ground of the sub-dimensions of awareness of the value, emotional experience, action tendency and their factors, a significant difference can also be found in the aspects of self-esteem and anxiety of communication. In general, parent-child communication attitude of higher grade group scored higher than that of the lower group in the aspect of mentality adaptation.
