Based on literature reviews and interviews with some teachers and students, this study analyzed all sorts of factors considered by undergraduates and graduate when they choose their work, and on overviews of former studies and a test of one small sample. A theoretical hypothesis was put forward in this study. Thus the students'occupational values questionnaire that is fit for the students were designed, and its reliability and validity were tested out. Then the status of undergraduate and graduate's occupational values was investigated through the formal questionnaire, and use Multi-level assessment of the undergraduate and postgraduate vocational studies to verify the structure values, at last, we use formal survey to investigate undergraduate and postgraduate occupational values of the state, and inspect the undergraduate, graduate occupational characteristics values, and two occupational groups values differences .The main results of this study are as follows(1) Undergraduate and graduate's occupational values is dimension structure of the 8 values, which were material rewards, social services, environment and occupational safety organizations, interpersonal relationships and prestige status, independence and freedom, and self-development, and creativity.(2) Between different genders, there are significant differences in the prestige status dimensions, on other dimension there was no significant differences.(3)Whether the only child in the family have scored significant differences in the social services, prestige status, independence and freedom, self-development, and creativity dimensions(4) Between different disciplines, there are significant differences in Material rewards, social services, interpersonal relationships and prestige status, independence and freedom dimensions(5) Whether graduating class exist significant differences in scores, in the material rewards, social services, interpersonal relationships, and prestige status dimensions(6)College students and graduate students in the material rewards, social services, interpersonal relationships, prestige status, and self-development dimensions have scored significant differenceThe results also showed that the occupation is a relatively stable values inherent belief system, but it is also closely linked with the outside factors, it is the formation of a long-term process, a lot of factors would have an impact on the formation of values, occupational values once formed.
