| As a reserved capital, the cultural feature of Lin'an has matured day by day in Southern Song . The Literati begun to consciously constitute the style of life, mainly writing poems, drinking liquor and antiphon. This article firstly discuss the reasons about the ups and downs of advocating harmony in Lin'an from these two points of view -the culture of Lin'an and the transition within the group of advocating harmony.Under the influence of long tradition in writing poems, drinking liquor and antiphon, gathered scholars in Lin'an showed some cultural oneness. It together with the government's policy of esteeming civilians, promoted the activity of advocating harmony in Lin'an.Between the end of Song Dynasty and the beginning of Yuan Dynasty, this activity went through the course of rising, peak and declining. The class of Scholars formed in the end of Song Dynasty, which became main participants in advocating harmony. Owing to the strict control in publicity by government, they made use of the skill in writing poems to emphasize their views. This style was implicit and circumbendibus. Due to bequeathed civilians and the abolishment of Imperial Examinations, poem has been blooming when entering Yuan Dynasty. It also made this activity broken out the district restriction. What's more, it merged with the tragedy of South of the River's civilians, which enlarged the scope of advocating harmony. From beginning to end, It concerned with the same theme. With the carrying out of the policy, including the policy of esteeming Confucianism and engaging scholars from regions south of the Yangtze River as a result of governing or living purpose, some scholars chose to service the new government. The new class of scholars has become gradually. Both the bequeathed civilians divided, and aggregation force decreased, the advocating harmony activity declined gradually.Secondly, we have further analyzed the social function, cultural characters and literary significance in advocating harmony activity. The advocating harmony activity closely contacted with seeking favor and discussing political affairs and other major and important matters. Compared with the same situation in Dang Dynasty, the purpose of discussing political affairs and other major and important matters in Lin'an Literati showed new features in aims, objects and ways, especially in advocating harmony. In the end of Song, scholars who took advantages of advocating harmony, interfered the politics and exerted pressure to the government. They wanted to construct the publicity and maintained fair. However, this spirit decayed in Yuan Dynasty.The feature of advocating harmony poems' culture show just like these: long title and long preface appeared commonly; articles, poems and words merged together; the style of conversation in advocating harmony became popular; the description about group and collectivity also appeared; the order about rhythm and theme more strict, and so on.According to this activity, Literati concluded poetics and discussion on words about the pre-dynasties. They took it into practice. At the same time, they reflected the practice of upholding the poetry style of Jiangxi and late of Tang dynasty. Literati begun to hold the banner of Epic Spirits when Yuan Dynasty. At last, we emphasized on the Yinshe poets and the responsory poets around Xian Yushu and Zhang Ying at the beginning of the Yuan dynasty, and we textual researched its members and activities. The former achieved great success in word rhythm and the Ci poems on objects; The latter lasted long time, its members were complicated and they were greatly differences in source. The group aim of advocating harmony transformed from the style of liking Jing to sigh of declined scholars. It reflected the refreshing of bequeathed civilians' complex and the contradiction on entering politics and retiring.All of these are typical significance to the research about bequeathed civilians' mood and will transition.
