As the Ministry of Education enforces the art education in compulsory education more intensively, the art education is now available throughout China, which lays the foundations for the art educational system and provides the higher dancing education with a rare opportunity. The dancing education has cast off restraints of old education and merged with other disciplines. Currently the dancing curriculum has become a required course for PR and etiquette majors in vocational higher education and is playing an important role in producing PR talents. However, the basic principle, educational concept, teaching substance and evaluation in China is lacking in research, which influences not only the teaching process in practice but also the educational quality.This paper explains the subject selecting, researching methods and meanings for PR and etiquette majors in vocational higher education firstly. Secondly, this paper discusses the theoretical and practical foundations of the dancing curriculum for PR and etiquette major in vocational higher education from several aspects, such as aesthetic, moral, intellectual, physical and social functions. Thirdly, after investigating and analyzing the practice of dancing education for PR and etiquette majors in vocational higher education in Fujian Province, this paper shows that PR and etiquette departments set the dancing curriculums more than others, however the teaching practice remains poor. In view of that situation, the paper makes an analysis from school education, faculty and teaching factors. At last, this paper puts forward a combination for the dancing curriculum in PRand etiquette majors in vocational higher education——the combination betweenknowledge and skills, the one between process and approaches, the one between feelings and value, and also explains the teaching contents, approaches and evaluation methods.Based on the case of teaching practice in the dancing courses in PR and etiquette majors in vocational higher education in Fujian Province, the paper explores the rules in the dancing courses in vocational higher education: directed by the social need for the PR talents, focusing on improving the comprehensive quality and competence of students of PR and etiquette, taking shaping, aesthetic competence and vocational skills as the content, enforcing standing, sitting and walking practice intensively, to meet the social needs to beauty and create an courteous environment. This paper also offers a reference to the mode of dancing curriculum for PR and etiquette majors in vocational higher education, accelerate the development of dancing education in vocational higher education and does an research on the dancing curriculum teaching practice in PR and etiquette majors in vocational higher education.
