Youth Narration--Review On The Variability Of The Chinese Youth Culture Since The Middle And The Latter Half Of The 1990s

Being a cultural phenomenon, people after 70s and 80s are the principal parts of the youth narration. There are advantages and disadvantages existing and the opinions vary. But if we put them into the background of consuming culture, the impulsion of the youth culture is absolutely a real cultural matter. Currently, there is a phenomenon of cultural feeding-back, that is, the mainstream culture relatively legs behind the youth culture, therefore, youth culture becomes the hot culture phenomenon.As the main body of 90s youth narration, by means of the literature, the youth born in the 1970s and 1980s, do their best to witness their specific values, living style and feeling and prove their position and feeling in this decade and this world. Their thinking, feeling and doing correspond to the characteristics of the current youth culture and hold the leading position of the youth sub-culture. By studying and reassessing the youth literature of the middle and late of 1990s, there is an important influence to the evolvement of the youth culture in the marketing economics. The writer believes that it is a new research angle to recognize the youth culture. By analysis of text of the youth narration, beginning from the social background of 1990s'youth narration, in comparison of the writing of 1970s and 1980s, this essay further interprets the agreement of the literature expressions in consuming culture, fashion culture, ego culture, etc. It explores the variation influence of the literature trends to the youth culture in the specific historical age.
