Youth literature after 1980 s is a new literature phenomenon in the literar y world in the new century.It expresses the personalities freely online and b ecame the favorite in the literature market.It challenged the tradition and go t rid of the constraint of the mainstream literature world and faced the litera ry criticism with an arrogant attitude.We can see that writers of the new ge neration expressed the craziness of the youth in an extreme way from the youth literature after 1980 s.They showed their lives and love in the pain of self-destruction.The carnivalized writing revealed their unforgettable growing experience and we can see the writers' values and persistence in art.Xin Yiwu,one of the generation after1980 s,stands out in the overflowi ng youth literature in “a warm and sad literature” style and became a popul ar writer with the film “ So Young”.Her works suit the refined and popular taste and surpassed the normal form of love and growing in the traditional youth literature,pointing the sad and attached youth memory and searching for the meaning of youth to one's life.This thesis chooses Xin Yiwu's youth literature as the object of study,presented the uniqueness of “a warm and sad literature” in comparison to other writers' youth literature after the 1980 s,interprets the stubborn and commendable female consciousness,explores Ms Xin's persistence in literature and exploration in art and provides a refere nce for understanding Xin Yiwu and literature after 1980 s comprehensively.This thesis can be divided into three chapters.The first chapter takes yo uth literature as the entry point and on this basis it explores the breaking th rough of Xin Yiwu's “warm and sad literature.The second chapter analyzes th e female consciousness in Ms Xin's works and explores the independent femal e consciousness of a series of personalized female images.The third chapter interprets the unique value of Xin Yiwu's works in the consumer culture thr ough analyzing relations between youth literature after 1980 s and the consum er culture,understands Ms.Xin's art pursuit which suits both refined and pop ular tastes and the art balancing point between literature and media and bet ween literature and market and explores the various efforts for the future de velopment direction of literature.
