It reflects the politics and the social life aspects of Song Dynasty. The book also records a great deal of poetry story for us to retain a lot of lost poetry and articles, with the compiled function. And history and other books absorb the material from Nenggaizhai Manlu, which contribute to the compilation of the history books and other books, the book also records a lot of the material which does not appear in history, to fill vacancy of history. This thesis can be divided into four parts, with a general review and research of the author Wu Zeng's life and has an analysis of the preparation, circulation and version of the situation of"Nenggaizhai Manlu". Although the author Wu Zeng depends on Qin Hui, he is despised by the people of the world. So there so little records on history books, even the years of his birth and death is unknown. This thesis does the research on his birth and death by looking up the historical data and from previous research results. Then, there's an analysis of the characteristics of the book, and giving the circulation of this book and the situation of the existing version.Chapter 2, By compares"Nenggaizhai Manlu"with the history books, knowing that is not only provide materials for the history books, but also add and broaden the historical records. In this chapter, the book is also compared with other books, with the foundation that his learning is absorbed by many scholars, which reflects its status is sufficient.
