Zhang Ailing and Su Tong are the two important Chinese literary Writers in the history of the 20th century. They both tried to subvert the normal ethical relations to achieve a more profound attention and revealing for the human. At the present time, the thesis for a detailed comparison of their literatures is also minimal. The method of literary comparison-parallel study-is employed to make a comparative research on their works at the premise of ethical narrative. The study tries to compare their literatures in three parts: from external narrative attribute to internal ethical relations to narrative skills. At last, it will explore the reasons of"the same and the different"in the two writers'ethical narrative.In the preface,the main analysis is to give the feasibility of the basis of the comparison to the literature of Zhang Ailing and Su Tong at the premise of ethical narrative. In the 20th century of the late 80's,China's economic system reform cause people change the concept of thought, Literature is separated from and the political preaching. Zhang Ailing's re-introduction to the mainland meets the readers'aesthetic hypothesis and writers'creative expectancy. Su Tong stepped on the literary scene at this time. He had put the unique style of Zhang Ailing's writing as a model for studying. The changes of the social environment and readers'expectancy as well as the literary creators mentality changes make the formation of readers praised the work of Zhang Ailing and the writer got Zhang Ailing's writing style possible .It can be seen that the existence of Zhang Ailing and Su Tongs'ethical narrative contacted with social causes and the reasons of the author's own.The first chapter mainly elaborates that the ethical narrative of Zhang Ailing and Su Tong is day-to-day family narrative in essence from the narrative property. It digest the "grand narrative" that shaping the hero and infiltration of politics. First, in the aspect of narrative spaces, they both chose the cold quiet of the house as the location of the story, where people isolated from the social environment. In a closed space, the people bited the soul and fighted with each other. Second, in the aspect of narrative time, major event in the history of the family history is the background of the family's development. Home chores maked a digestion of the history . Zhang Ailing played down the dignity of the history with the accidental event in history, however, Su Tong directly fabricate the historical background, and make it to contrast the historical atmosphere. On the treatment of narrative history, they did not agree with the clear and orderly structure of past, present and future in the eyes of the Enlightenment. In their ethical narrative there is a circular structure in the development of family history, creating a sense of stagnation time.The second chapter emphatically elaborated the similarities and differences between the two writers from subverting the traditional ethical relationship . Both of affection are not hopeful in their works. In the treatment of non-love marriage, Zhang Ailing and Su Tong got the same standpoint of the Female tragedy. Women seeking marriage are at the economic considerations and a need to survive. In the non-love marriage relationship, Zhang Ailing's narrative is to complain a man's irresponsible charges. Men on the supremacy of the economy led them to the situation of women subjected to harm. Su Tong also noted the existence of men's confusion and helplessness in the marriage, economic superiority can not change the emptiness of their souls. Father is not kindness any longer and the mother is no longer good in the relationship between children and parents. Zhang Ailing and Su Tong deconstructed the image of the father by excavating his soul and excruciating the human nature It is different from the exposion of the "autocratic" and"arrogant" patriarchal system in the 54 period . They are keen to find that father in the family's escape from the responsibilities and obligations are the direct cause of collaption of the father image and the loss of human relations affection. Zhang Ailing and Su Tong has a different attitude to described the sub-group Zhang described the "son" with a father's repression reflecting a culture of "killing child". Su Tong's character cried out their dissatisfaction to his father's cruel, and to do their best right out of the Father, embodied in the "patricide" complex. The children described by Zhang Ailing and Su Tong became insignificant in the eyes of the mother, the mother of the cruel and selfish showed obviously. The children described by Zhang Ailing put up with abuse in silence, and the children described by Su Tong are engaged in a struggle .The third chapter emphatically analysis the means of supporting narrative ethics - "Images of Writing". In order to achieve a more dismantling relations and revealing the human nature more in-depth, they adopted a narrative technical– Images of Writing. They made the focus on creating a meaningful,complicated, unique image in the ethical narrative .They combined ethical narrative with "Images of Writing" by the integration of the center image and the ethical narrative process ,and also by the fusion of partial image and the specific ethical conflicting.They enhanced the poetic function of image in the subversion of the normal relationship . On the one hand, the creation of image helps to play up the atmosphere for the abnormal ethical relationship.On the other hand ,the key image settings is the aids to show the abnormal relationship .They both are good at using color image as a way to reveal the ethical tragedy .For example ,blue are used to express the theme of death, but the understanding of red are different. Zhang Ailing likes to use red as high passion, and Su Tong used red to express the decline as the blood. They also are adept at using of natural imagery as a means of promoting the ethics fissile. Zhang Ailing's good at making performance of the interaction between objects and natural imagery in the ethics relationship fission. but Su Tong put his emphasis on the overall situation and atmosphere.The fourth chapter emphatically analysis the reasons of"the same and the different"in the two writers'ethical narrative. There are two aspects that makes the similarity of their literatures. First of all, the two literary works are subject to the traditional culture of trophoblasts. Their narrative ethics are in the creation of a common origin with the impact of narrative structure of the "A Dream of Red Mansions". Shanghai and Suzhou where impacted the literary works of Zhang Ailing and Su Tong are in the southern cultures. Southern regional culture making the imperceptible influence of two literary works have a similar aesthetic and decadent atmosphere. Secondly, the infiltration of modern Western sense of the works makes their works have the same modern character. They are inherited from the enthusiasm of Western modernist expression of loneliness, as well as the subject of concern in the narrative perspective of human nature. There are also two aspects that make the differences of their literatures. Zhang Ailing infiltrated more of the ethical narrative of their own experience in her literatures. But Su Tong's literature is a creative literary imagination .So the works of Zhang Ailing's has a sentimental nostalgic sense. Su Tong's works emitted a mysterious old style. Life for the two are different. Zhang Ailing's perception of life is empty. But Su Tong' has a strong sense of life. Tone from the aesthetic point of view are different: Zhang Ailing's ethical narrative text are desolate, but Su Tong's ethical narrative version are ridiculous.
