"The integration of Objectivism and Constructivism in Learning Theory" has become a complex problem which should be solved in educational technology and even in education field. The thesis probes in the integration of Objectivism and Constructivism in Learning Theories with the Humankind's Hierarchical Communication Model.First, the thesis studies Objectivism and Constructivism on the philosophy level, including introducing the historical background: the debate between Modernity and Postmodernity, and the paradigms transformation from Modernity to Postmodernity; the most general characteristics of contemporary constructivism; the constructivism in education; the contrast between the characteristics of Objectivism and Constructivism.Secondly, the thesis studies Objectivism and Constructivism on the level of learning theories , which include the epistemology of learning and the paradigms transformation of learning theories—from the behaviorism to cognitionism then to constructivism, the integration with the view of "transparent/layer". The part of learning epistemology sorts out the relationship between three epistemological tradition (objectivism, pragmatism and constructivism) and learning study, and explains two dimensions: "exterior import- inner generation", "individual- society" and two cognition revolutions. The part of the paradigms transformation of learning theories—from the behaviorism to cognitionism then to constructivism studies mostly the evolution of the Information Processing Model and interprets some representative metaphor of these models (Gagné's learning and memory model, Wittrock's generative process model, Mayer's dual channel model etc.). Studying learning theories by exploring the transformation of these models is to help people understand the paradigms transformation of learning theories. With modernity and Postmodernity, the part of "transparent/layer" denies the compromise of "blending learning" by "Humankind's Hierarchical Communication Model" and the thought of "transparent/layer", which expands "continuum" and makes "continuum" thought transfer from thinking level to practice level. Then, we can thoroughly study the learning theories.Finally, the author believes that individual's processing information or construction is a foundation. It can eliminate individualism and relate to the society attribute of knowledge by mutual processing information or construction. Treating Objectivism and Constructivism in teaching practice, people are suggested to expel modernism's two value logic thinking and to draw lessons from Postmodernity's multiple perspectives, so as to obtain good teaching effect.
