The biological warfare is a war method implied by the Japanese army in the Asian region including China, which is brutal and appalling. During its invasion, the Japanese army practiced the biological warfare on the main battle fields in China, with one of which being the Zhejiang-Jiangxi railway zone. Shangrao prefecture of Jiangxi province lies in the Zhejiang-Jiangxi railway zone, so it was deeply devastated by the biological warfare. Upon the end of the war against Japan, the Japanese army, on the eve of its evacuation, eliminated lots of its experimental equipments, warring weaponries, and information materials concerning biological warfare. Such that in order to make clear of the historical facts of the biological warfare, we have to, making use of other research accomplishments, rely upon the fragmental remembrances of the sufferers.Based on the achievements of the investigations made by the author on the sufferers in Shangrao prefecture of Jiangxi province, and referring to the relating research accomplishments made by the academic scholars, this paper lays emphasis on the comparison of physical and psychological conditions of the participants and sufferers of the Japanese biological warfare. On the other hand, the Chinese sufferers of the biological warfare, herein the sufferers in Shangrao prefecture of Jiangxi province that this thesis emphatically investigates, are not able to erase the horrible memories of the biological warfare, and are unable to get over the badly harmed souls. Ever since the triumph over the Japanese army, they have been living of a life of poverty, loneness, and drabness, which forms a sharp contrast with the luxurious lives of the participants of the biological warfare.Where on earth is the consciousness of human being? By this research, we wish on one hand to reveal the brutality of the Japanese biological warfare, and the extremely anti-mankind nature of the Japanese imperialist ideology; and on another hand to justify for the integral rightness and fair rights. From history we learn lessons, so both the Chinese and Japanese peoples should keep in mind the past, face the future, and strive for the co-constructions of the beautiful Sino-Japanese relationship.
