Self-concept is the cognition and appraisal about individual to oneself various aspects. It is an important aspect of children's sociality development,also an important part of personality and the center of children's individuality development. Self-concept has become an important researching subject for psychology because its important role. It is the outcome of individual interacted with outside. Self-concept is a variable which influenced by many factors. Researchers discussed the important relationship with self-concept from aspects of family, society, school and so on, found many significant conclusions. Among them the factors on school have significant influence to the formation of self-concept. This study discussed the relationship among self-concept, class environment and school adjustment of rural children from the factor on school.This study surveyed 636 children from Grade 5 in primary school to Grade 3 in junior middle school by questionnaire on the basis of discussing the definition,the measuring and the influencing factors of self-concept,class environment and school adjustment,then founded the follow results: (1)The score on self-concept has difference on grade. The self-concept of rural children in important classes is higher than in other classes and has significant difference on the dimensionality of anxiety,happiness and satisfaction. (2)We classified class environment into 3 types: the good type, the general type, the problem type. The general type has the most percentage, it's to 50%. Some dimensions of class environment have significant difference in different learning phase, different grade and important class or not. (3)Class environment type has close relationship with self-concept, class environment correlates significantly with self-concept and predicts self-concept well. (4)School adjustment of rural children has close relationship with self-concept, school adjustment correlates significantly with self-concept and predicts self-concept well. (5) We constructed the path model among self-concept, class environment and school adjustment. Class environment influenced significantly school adjustment, self-concept of rural children. School adjustment and self-concept interact each other.
