Psychological adaptation level has always been the focus of the mental health field. The evolutionary psychology also believes that all the organisms are the result of the adaptation and the adaptation is a solution to the problem through the evolution. For children, the school is an important place of learning, living and growing, so there is a close relationship between the school adjustment and the children’s development. It’s not only an significant indicator of children’ mental health but also an important guaranty children’s studies. Ecological Psychology believes that we should study people’s psychology and behavior in real environment. The family and the class are two main environments children live in and the sources of external factors that influence children’s development. Therefore, this study discusses the impact of family environment and class environment on children’s school adjustment using the ecology of human development.This study surveyed615children from Grade4to Grade6, their parents and their head teachers by questionnaire on the basis of reviewing research in family environment, class environment and school adjustment.The result shows that:(1) Pupils’ family environment has significant differences on the dimensionalities of grade and class cadre. Pupils’ family environment is also affected by family socioeconomic status. Family environment can be divided into3types:the good type, the general type and the problem type. The general type has the most percentage, it’s to52%.(2) Pupils class environment has significant differences in gender, grade and class cadre variables. Class environment can be divided into3types: the good type, the general type and the problem type. The good type has the most percentage, reaching41.6%.(3)Pupils’ school adjustment status is above the average and has significant differences in gender, grade and class cadre dimension.(4)Different groups have different feelings about the environment. Parents’ perception of the family environment is more optimistic than children, well teachers’ perception of the class environment is more negative than students.(5) Family environment directly affects the level of primary schools adjustment, but also indirectly affects the level of primary schools adjustment through the classroom environment.
