It has been more than thirty years since the reform and opening, under Deng Xiaoping Theory's instruction, our country's socialist modernization enterprise had already achieved the achievement which attracts worldwide attention. However, opening our philosophy textbook, it is still dominated by Soviet Union's theoretical system. Now the popular viewpoint of Theorists is that the identity of contradictory is relative and the militancy of contradictory is absolute. But in fact, the contradiction has two essential attributes that are the identity and the militancy. Although they are opposite attributes of contradictory, they also depend on each other and are inalienable. Lacking of one of them, the contradiction cannot form. The problem of contradictory is the essence and the core of materialistic dialectics and is the fundamental principle that people know and transform the world. Therefore, the understanding of the essential attribute of contradictory understanding not only relates to the correct understanding of the theory, but also relates to the transformation of the real life.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the thought achievement of the identity and difference of contradictory before Marx philosophy. The Marx philosophy has made some positive progresses in the understanding of contradictory, but the Marx philosophy is not the wood without the root and the water without the source, it formed on the base of critically inheriting the excellent thought achievement of contradictory identity and difference. Since the ancient times humanity have pondered growth change and movement circulation of cosmic inventory and they are attracted by the extremely abundant evolution forms of the myriad things and have the exclamation for these. In the human earliest literature, regardless of the East or the West, it has indicated that the humanity already realized that the thing has two aspects that connect each other. It started to form the contradictory understanding. Especially the German classical philosophy epitomizes, diagnostic method Master Hegel has made systematical elaboration to the contradictory question. In "Small Logic" and "Logic", he has made the centralism elaboration to contradictory identical, the difference question The second chapter is that Marx and Engels discuss the identity and the difference. Marx and Engels critically inherited Hegel's contradictory thought. On the one hand, Marx and Engels' contradictory thought has inherited the reasonable essence of Hegel contradictory thought. From the basic relations, Marx, and Engels'identity and difference elaboration coincide with Hegel's contradictory ideological unity. The elaboration of contradictory identity and difference of Marx and Engels has realized the transformation from the pure realm of thought to the real life, which is also the basic difference between Marx and Engels' contradictory thought and Hegel's contradictory thought. Hegel is the speculation philosopher, but Marx, especially Lenin and Mao Zedong is the proletariat theoreticians and the revolutionary, therefore, they have the basic difference to the contradictory understanding. Hegel saw the contradiction in the thought logic, but the revolutionary leaders saw the real contradiction that exists in the economy, politics and all kinds of domains .The third chapter is the statement of Lenin contradictory struggling and absolute quality thought. Under the condition of filling the contradictory home and abroad, Lenin has placed his own philosophy research work on the materialistic dialectics question and wrote the famous article"Chatted Diagnostic method Question" in 1915. In this article, Lenin elaborated the relation of the identity and struggling of the opposite ,namely the opposite's identity has the condition and is temporary, easy-passed and relative, but the opposite struggling is absolute. This is the first time of clear statement about the judgment that contradictory identity is relative, the contradictory militancy is absolute, and this is also the theory source of our country present textbook viewpoint. But we should grasp Lenin's thought overall. After proposing the above judgment, he reminded us to pay attention to the relation between the relative and the absolute, and elaborated their dialectical relations, criticized the subjectism, namely the skepticisms and the paradox and made a clear boundary between the materialistic dialectics and the subjectism.The fourth chapter is the formation of Mao Zedong "Discusses of Contradictory" and the struggling philosophy. Mao Zedong's elaboration about the contradictory question mainly manifests "Discusses of Contradictory" that he wrote in August, 1937. In this article, he Systematically elaborated questions of identity and struggling. In"Discusses of Contradictory" Mao Zedong not only accepted Lenin's elaboration about the contradictory identity is relative and the contradictory militancy is absolute, but also made his own display in this question. Mao Zedong about contradictory identical, struggle relative, absolutely this question understanding, is"the struggle philosophy"the formation has provided in the theory preparation.The fifth chapter is the correct understanding of contradictory and the construction of harmonious society. The contradiction reflects the opposite and united relation of the interior of thing and all things. Although they are opposite, they are alienable and uninterested. Actually the thought that"the contradictory identity is relative, the militancy is absolute"is exaggerating the militancy function and then think that the contradictory militancy is the power of promoting the things to develop. But in fact, only the contradiction is the basic power of promoting the things to develop, not any kind of attribute. Therefore, in a sense the contradictory identity and the militancy should be at the same time relative or at the same time absolutely, under the same level condition should not only be relative, is only absolutely. In the construction socialistic harmonious society, in the comprehensive construction affluent society's process, we are certainly take acknowledge the difference the existence as the premise, but current we should even more pay great attention to unify harmoniously.At present, in the social development our country already paid great attention to unity and harmony, and has made the remarkable progress in the economic development and the social progress. However, as the knowledge dissemination carrier, textbook is still stubbornly keeping this one-sided view of"the contradictory identity is relative and the contradictory militancy is absolute". We had abandoned the one-sided viewpoint in practice; therefore our textbook should also make the corresponding change in the basic theory aspect. Thereby, it could instruct people's practice better and make its own contribution for the construction of socialistic harmonious society.
