| Simile is a kind of analogy commonly used in rhetoric.It is also known as distillation of language arts.It is the most poetic form of language.Regarding Arabic and Chinese rhetoric in relation to comparison research method,we find few scholars having not done a lot of research in this field,as well having published few books regarding analogy in both languages.Therefore,I think there is a need to do more research in this field.This research is about "Comparison between Arabic & Chinese Analogy Research" This paper attempts to discuss the similarities and differences regarding the analogy in both languages.The paper is about Arabic and Chinese analogy definition,structure, classification,semantics,etc.Although both languages belong to different classes, they have some similar aspects as far as analogy is concerned.Some differences also exist.The paper will discuss the various aspects of analogy in both languages.The paper will also use examples from both languages to compare between analogies in both.The paper has four chapters:The first chapter discusses analogy boundary,analogy concepts and structure,conditions and analogy and non-analogy differences.The second chapter will discuss analogy structure and classification,there into,rhetoric conception, rhetoric development.the third chapter is discuss,the semantics of analogy in both languages,there into,aesthetics conception,beauty conception in both languages, analogy semantics comparing and using of animals to perform analogy.The fourth chapter discusses the reasons of causing differences in analogy;among them are religious differences,life differences,culture differences and language differences.The last part is the conclusion which concludes the four chapter's contents. At last the main purpose of this paper is to figure out the differences and similarities of analogy in both languages to help scholars to learn and teach both languages.The research method is based analysis using both Chinese and Arabic references.
