Life quality notions are the material social conditional requirements and intentions about individuals' satisfaction of physiological needs and psychological goals;and cognitions and wishes about individuals' seeking of self-development and sense of life.Study on college students' notions of life quality is the further extension study on life quality,it can make mental health and life education practical,and also can privide guidance on theoretical bases and practical methods to improve life quality of college students.In this study,I follow this train of thought,that is "theoretical analysis - development of tools - research -characteristics revelation",analyse and survey the literature on the basis of the revision ZHANG Wen,ZHANG Da-jun,2007 in the "Questionnaire on Life Quality Notions of University Students." Through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,we confirme the components of life quality of university students,and reveal their current characteristics.In this study,I mainly draw the following conclusions:1.By means of the method of factor analysis,the research finds that the college students' notions of life quality are constructed by dimensions of the second-order four-factor,first-order ten-factor, the second-order four -factor include the physical environment,the social sphere,the field of psychology and physiology,physical environment contains only one first-order factor:the physical environment,the social sphere contains such five first-order factors as interpersonal relationships,social contributions,marriage and family,income level,reputation and status. the field of psychology contains such two first-order factors as self-awareness and the spirit of faith, the field of physiology contains such two first-order factors as physical health and physical appearance.Compared with the original questionnaire,the revised questionnaire has better reliability and validity,and it can be used as a tool to measure college students' notions of life quality.2.Based on the importance,The ranking of cognition towards life quality of contemporary university students is:physical health>interpersonal relationship>self-awareness>social contributions>spirit of faith>material enviroment>marriage and family>reputation and status>physical appearance>income levels.Physical health factor score is significantly higher than that of other factors,and the income level factor score is significantly lower than that of other factors.3.The measurement scores of the life quality view of contemporary college students decrease with age,and generally increase with grade,with V-shaped trend.4.On the whole,there are significant differences on gender,the factor of reputation and status has a general significant difference(p<.05),while the remaining factors have extremely significant differences(p<.001),There are significant differences in social contributions,ego, interpersonal relationships between urban students and rural students,scores of all other factors for students from rural areas are significantly lower than those from the college towns and cities.5.On the whole,there are significant differences for students with different majors,the scores of students in the liberal arts are significantly higher than those of science in engineering and other professional students.
