The Folk fine arts, just like a flowing river, has been developing from ancient times to modern civilization without any Intermittence. In its developing process, different kinds of arts forms continued appearing to meet various needs. Farmers'arts are a type of art that emerged to meet the prevailing political propaganda during China's "Great Leap Forward" period. With the political movement coming to an end, The Folk Fine Arts changed and developed into an art form freely created by farmers for the purpose to enjoy themselves. The Folk fine arts has a short history and its theoretical research is lagging behind, which has limited its rapid growth.The Folk fine art in Neihuang county is an outstanding representative in the Central Plain region. During its developing process it used different artistic expression forms, such as local folk paper-cut, civil New Year, embroidery and so on, thus developing an distinctive feature and time characteristics. Its subjects are mainly about rural area, which embody varieties of rural traditional customs. It has a great historical and artistic value to the study of peasant living conditions, social psychology, aesthetic culture. Neihuang County, with a thick atmosphere of folk art, is one of the birthplaces of Chinese culture and is known as "the hometown of Chinese folk art". Most of the creators live in the rural area and they are greatly influenced by the rural culture, which makes their art works show typical folk characteristics. The Folk fine arts in Neihuang county is influenced greatly by local natural conditions and folk customs, so it has the honest characteristic of the local people. It absorbs the essence of traditional painting, but abandons the shackles of traditional painting. It draws nutrition's from life and has a strong local flavor. Its content is optimistic and high-spirited , full of dramatic beauty, aiming to liberate people's personality.Due to lack of education, peasants have seldom been influenced by the academic art theory. They look at the world with the attitude of Solipsism, thus they lack rational thinking. Influenced by the chaotic thinking, their art images are romantic and mysterious . The Folk fine arts use the traditional approach of "single-line and surface drawing" and panoramic composition. It follows the approach of "Chinese Scattering Perspective" and meanwhile it is beyond it, thus making the screen show characteristics of "fullness", "denseness"and"panorama". In its modeling, it pursues perfect, passion and simplicity to express peasants' life spirit and unique personality. It uses exaggerated deformation to make the image decorative. In the use of colors, it shows a great subjectivity. The drawing looks shining and strong by the use of highly pure color. Its composition and performance reflect Chinese traditional philosophy, such as harmony between human and nature, Yin and yang thought. At the same time, the Folk fine arts in Neihuang county has a strong modern taste and can be appreciated by both the common people and artists. With a wide range of painting resources, it greatly broadens the field of Chinese painting aesthetic.The thesis , rooted in the development of folk arts ,analyzes the characteristics of The Folk fine arts in Neihuang county. The thesis induces the four drawing themes and analyzes the modeling idea.
