On Frege's Theory Of Meaning

Frege is a famous German mathematician, philosopher and Logician. Not only is he the founder of mathematical logic, but also the founder of the philosophy of language and analysis. In the historical period of Frege, the development of philosophy is at a stagnant situation, while at the same time, the natural sciences develop powerfully, especially mathematics, which leads many philosophers to find the new ways of philosophy development. Many philosophers focus attention to logic analysis in order to resolve philosophical problems. Frege is the spiritual pioneer in this reform motion of philosophy, and thus form his exclusive philosophy of logic.Frege argues no mater what systems of philosophy the first task is the analysis of significance. In my paper I divided Frege's theory of meaning into five aspects to analysis. The paper explains the formative background of Frege's philosophy of logic, his complete theoretical system and principles as well as the impact of his philosophy of logic.Frege eventually put an end to the Aristotle traditional logic status, but Frege as same as Aristotle and Kant, who according changing people's way of thinking to affect the development of western philosophy.
