Since ancient Greece the truth of Searching always was a traditional goal in logic. Aristotle was the founder of traditional logic, and G-Frege, a famous mathematician of German, was the founder of modern mathematical logic. Both of them, as two generation of logical research master, had their own unique understanding to the truth question. This paper taking Aristotle's traditional theory of truth as a datum and the angle to discuss Frege's theory of truth, attempts to interpret and evaluate the unique theory of truth of Frege.First, this paper presents an introduction of Aristotle's traditional theory of truth. Aristotle, as the representative of correspondence theory of truth, has produced the explicit reply regarding the truth definition and the examination standard, and the four predicates theories and the syllogism deduction system proposed by him has manifested in the modern logical thought.Secondly, this article elaborates Frege's theory of truth. Frege, after inheriting Aristotle's traditional logic axiomatic thought and abandoning some contents of the traditional epistemology, has analyzed the sentence using the logic analysis method, as to construct the logical first-order predicate calculus system and the quantifier theory in the complete significance, which has realized the logical mathematics truly, and taken the vital step in the development of modern mathematical logic. Finally, it introduced the significance of Frege's unique theory of truth. He has broken the traditional logic system structure, and established the modern logic research system. What's more he has changed the philosophy research center, and started an analysis era, which had a profound influence on the modern analysis philosophy and the language philosophy.According to this paper, the author aims to stress the importance and the necessity of modern logic unceasingly.
